Bonn, North West Germany Score: 4
I had remarkable respite from my symptoms staying in Bonn Germany for 5 months in 2000. I had an apartment near the Rhein, in an old building which may well have been moldy. I was not there long, so I did not have to rely on the German medical system. It was a beautiful city with a homeopathic pharmacy on my block, which I used to get advice on lots of persistent symptoms. I really cherished my time in the beautiful old city and felt that it was small and removed, but not too far from civilization (Köln is close by). I relied mostly on bus transportation -- I would guess the ubahn (subway) might be a mold hazard.
