AWFUL (1)
I spent a week at the Watergate hotel in Washington D.C. in August 2002. This was long before I started doing avoidance, and my illness was only moderate at the time.
I had a horrible time in D.C., in a way that makes me think that I got a lot of exposure to the worst toxin for me. The hotel also may have been moldy.

Sept of '09. Spent a few days there seeing the sights. Stayed in a hotel in Arlington that was great. Didn't detect any ick and air quality was good. I felt great there. Overall I'd give it a 5.

One of the worst places I've ever been. I went from about ninety percent funcuonailty two days ago before arriving, to twenty percent. Haven't been hit this hard EVER. You cannot avoid the mold here either. It's in every building, every restaurant, every hotel and the air is thick with it. I leave tomorrow, thank God. Avoid DC at all cost.

I stayed at the Marriot Marquis in November 2014 and it was pretty moldy even though it's a new building (2). I eventually switched hotels.
However, the convention center right next door was quite good (4), but with pockets of bad rooms and areas (3).
