AWFUL - 1
I spent three months in Delaware when I was in college doing an internship for the big newspaper there. This was September-December 1984. I worked in Wilmington and lived in Newark.
I was extremely depressed the whole time, much more so than I ever was anywhere else. I told my family and friends that I hated Delaware, and spent as much time as I could visiting other nearby places.
I’d like to hear more reports on Delaware, therefore.

Absolutely horrible. Lived in Northern Delaware (Wilmington and Newark) up to age 33 and it was awful for me. It's where I got extremely ill and continued to go down hill. Became "epileptic" at age 27 there but it was the toxins from mold and whatever else. Also, had serious mental problems that have diminished since leaving and detoxing. Stay away. Delaware has very high cancer rates. In my opinion it's not a safe place to live.
